Since 2017, Fabian Shirokov has been helping us convert our homegrown SQL reporting to visually appealing and clearly interpretable Power BI reports.
Data from a multi-tenant Microsoft Dynamics NAV system was to be made available to several European World Vision offices so that key figures could be compared across Europe. The complex access and authorization requirements presented a particular challenge. In addition to technical and content-related consulting, Mr. Shirokov also supported us during the rollout of the solutions through training and education, and enabled our internal IT staff to support the solution during ongoing operations.
Thanks to his extensive experience and in-depth expertise in the ever-changing Microsoft world, we were able to successfully complete the "Reporting Revolution" project with significantly higher quality than originally expected. The increased transparency allows us to use our donations even more efficiently - for the benefit of the children we support. The Power BI training over two days covers all essential points to be able to create the first own Power BI reports on a solid basis. The training is clearly structured, the trainer was always on hand to provide advice and practical knowledge during the training.
Starting with the introduction to Power Bi Desktop, the Power Query Editor up to publishing a report or creating a gateway, all these topics were covered. The individual topics were built up step by step on the basis of a case study, which was adapted to the own company and was explained very well. As a participant, you were always picked up and could apply the knowledge directly. Mr. Shirokov also always answered questions and explained ambiguities clearly and well.
