Master data migration

We take on the complete migration of your master data to the new system, even in very complex cases. This includes analyzing the current system, coordinating all field mappings between NAV and BC in detail, migrating the data and writing test case scenarios. Every single field in NAV and BC is validated. The development and implementation of detailed test cases to ensure an error-free migration are essential. We test all possible eventualities and ensure that your data is always processed correctly by BC.

The introduction of a new ERP system offers the opportunity to introduce new processes and structures, such as a new pricing system.  

We provide you with full support during the design, testing and data migration. Thanks to our SQL expertise, we ensure that all data is migrated correctly from the legacy system and that the new logic is applied without errors. 

Customization or upgrade of reporting solutions

In the course of the upgrade to BC, it must be ensured in the background that all relevant data from NAV is also available from BC for reporting. We analyze your reporting and ensure that your employees are seamlessly supplied with reporting data for the go-live. We create detailed requirement reports for each report and compare them with the database and, if necessary, with your tabular model or dataset. We ensure that the transaction data is included in the reporting. This data is often not migrated by NAV service providers. We then recreate all required SQL programming, tabular models or datasets and all Power BI reports. We work closely with your employees throughout the entire project. This enables us to quickly understand your requirements and react quickly to any changes. 

Our aim is not only to connect existing reports with new data sources, but also to create future-proof, scalable data models, and design the reports in such a way that they present answers to the requirements and relevant questions in an easily understandable way.

Every existing system has grown over the years. As part of the ERP system upgrade, we carry out the migration of SQL code. Existing jobs and other programming must be adapted to the new system. Optionally, we revise and redesign existing code as part of the upgrade.  

ImportantEven if transaction data is not migrated to BC, we can still integrate it in reporting!

In the course of this, we can redesign your reports according to the IBCS standard. We scrutinize the content and its presentation and create a standardized layout for you that always puts the most important information in the focus of the viewer.

Transformation of self-programmed processes outside NAV

Over the years, have you created scripts, e.g. in SQL, PowerShell, Python or C#, around NAV that all use NAV data? Have you set up some of your processes with SQL Agent Jobs or the Task Scheduler? 

We analyze the program code in detail and create a new customized solution according to your requirements. We understand every code. Extensive test cases and simulations of all possible use cases allow us to correctly transform the processes from the old system into the new system. In addition, we can revise your system in the course of the transformation according to your requirements, i.e. supplement or streamline it.
