Personalized AI for Your Financial Data
The Sparring Partner
in your figures
Ask your accounting department questions in plain language—whether typed or spoken. Your own BI model will do the calculations: accurate to the cent, with a verification calculation, and traceable all the way down to the general ledger account.
The financial AI was developed in collaboration with our AI partner airdys developed.
Does this sound familiar to you?
Typical situations in the finance departments of small and medium-sized businesses—and how a sparring partner can change them.
Which number is correct?
The report shows a different figure than the accounting records, and no one can say right away why. From that point on, every number is scrutinized.
Each key figure is calculated a second time, independently, against your official metric. You'll see the result of the check and a confidence level.
Where does that amount come from?
A total figure alone isn't very helpful. Only when you can see which accounts and entries are behind it can you actually work with it.
Ask: „Which accounts are involved?“ Every query to your model is openly visible, along with a results table.
A short question, a long journey
If you want to know where your costs stand, write to the Controlling department—and wait until someone compiles a list by hand.
The question goes directly to the model, and the answer comes back in seconds. The Controlling department doesn't have to build a report for this.
The same spreadsheet work every month
Every month, the figures are re-exported, copied, and formatted for management, the advisory board, or the company's primary bank.
The numbers come from the data model, which is maintained anyway—not from another copy.
What time of year is it?
A single month doesn't tell us much. What matters is the trend since the beginning of the year, the comparison with the previous year, and the question of what a change entails.
Year-over-year comparisons, trends for the current year, and scenarios such as „two more employees“—answered with a chart.
Is something missing?
If a report doesn't work, the search begins: Is an account assigned incorrectly, is a transaction missing, or has the month not yet been closed?
When the check sum doesn't match, the AI points it out instead of smoothing out the number. This way, gaps in the mapping are detected early on.
Here's how it works
1
Questions
„How have personnel costs changed compared to last year?“ – typed or spoken.
2
Find a key metric
The AI searches for the appropriate, official metric in your data model.
3
Run the model
Your model performs the calculation. An independent verification check reviews the result and assigns a confidence level.
4
Thinking Ahead
Answer with a diagram and a derivation. Followed by questions and scenarios: „What happens if we hire two people?“
To the nearest cent
Your data model calculates the figures using your agreed-upon metrics, not the language model. Each key figure is cross-checked.
Understandable
Every query is visible. Your Controlling department can see where a figure comes from and has the final say.
Personal
Your own AI instance in Microsoft Azure instead of a public chat service; no training using your data; read-only access. Hosted in your tenant as part of a customer project and located in the EU.

Questions Instead of Reports
Fabian Shirokov (data4success GmbH) demonstrates how an AI agent answers questions for the accounting department—instead of someone having to create a new report for that purpose.

Ask whatever you want to know—for example:
„What was revenue in 2025, and how will it change in 2026 compared to the previous year?“
„Show me the 2025 income statement broken down into broad categories.“
„What happens to the results if we hire two employees?“
„Have there been any unusual patterns in the costs over the past few months?“
For whom
- Executive and Financial Management in Medium-Sized Companies, with Revenue of Approximately €10 to 100 Million
- Your financial data is already stored in a BI model, such as Power BI or Analysis Services
- You want answers to your questions without having to order a new report every time
Don't have a clean data model yet? No problem. data4success prepares your financial data and key metrics so that financial AI can work accurately and transparently.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the AI calculate the numbers on its own?
No. The language model formulates the query; your data model performs the calculations. A second, independent calculation against your official metric verifies the result.
Is our data used for training purposes?
No. For GPT-5.5 on Azure, this is guaranteed by the contract with Microsoft; for Claude, it is guaranteed by Anthropic's terms and conditions. Access to your data model is read-only.
Is this really a private AI?
For customer projects, yes: a dedicated instance in your Azure tenant, processing within the EU, and an isolated network. The demo is not hardened, and with Claude, the processing leaves the EU. Details can be found on the page „How Private Is Financial AI?“ (www.data4success.de/finanz-ki/private-ki).
Does this replace our financial control functions?
No. The AI is a sparring partner, not a decision-maker. It answers questions faster and reveals how it arrives at its calculations. The final say rests with the Controlling department.
Do we need Power BI?
You need a data model containing your financial figures, for example in Power BI or SQL Server Analysis Services. There is no need for a new reporting system or data migration.
What does the demonstration show?
The demo answers questions based on a sample data model, not your actual numbers. To discuss your own numbers, we recommend scheduling a demo appointment.
How much does that cost?
That depends on the data model and the number of users. To get started, try a quick test with your own data. We'll discuss the price during our conversation.
