In our job as consultants for Business Intelligence and AI one thing is clear: we must always be open to new ideas. Learning is part of our everyday life - be it today Power BI, tomorrow Microsoft Fabric or the day after tomorrow the latest Copilot. Our success depends on how quickly we can adapt to new technologies.
We wanted to celebrate this constant learning process in a very special way at our Christmas party: with a Tennis event!
Tennis as a symbol of continuous learning
When you stand on the tennis court for the first time, the feeling is often overwhelming. The racket feels unfamiliar, the ball flies in the wrong direction - or directly against the ceiling. 🎾
But just like in our day-to-day work, the same applies here: Babysteps. Step by step, stroke by stroke, you get better. It takes patience, the courage to make mistakes and a healthy dose of self-confidence to stay on the ball - in the truest sense of the word.
We started our Christmas party with this attitude. Our motto: "Learning something new every day"even away from the screen.
Thanks to our coach
Fortunately, we had Tennis coach Constantin Meister a great teacher at our side. He taught us the basics of the game with a lot of patience and humor. The first few lessons were a challenge, but things got better and better from the third lesson onwards: The rallies became longer and more precise - and we were able to really let off steam.
What we have learned
Our Christmas party showed us once again that learning is not only necessary, but can also be a lot of fun. Be it on the tennis court or in our job - learning is the key to success:
- Patience with ourselves,
- Courageto try out new things, and
- Team spiritto motivate each other.
A special celebration that lasts
We are proud that our Christmas party was not just an opportunity to celebrate, but has also become a symbol of what we are all about as a team: Willingness to learn, perseverance and team spirit.
With this energy and the experience from the tennis court, we are starting the new year full of momentum - and are looking forward to everything that 2025 will bring! 🎉
